Summer is in full swing, but it feels a lot like springtime around here. Our home is filled with all kinds of new life! God has blessed us with a beautiful baby boy who we brought home less than 2 weeks ago. A few weeks before, our Hope x Wulfe litter was born. These pups are 5-1/2 weeks old now and are full of life! They will be ready to go to their new homes soon.
On the day we came home from the hospital, our Jane x Axel litter was born. This was a repeat breeding from a pairing last year. It looks like they’ve given us another great bunch of pups. This litter has given us our first ever “dilute” black tri. When he was born, we wondered if we had a very unusual merle. His coat has a mild silver-gray hue that we think will actually turn out quite nice. This does not conform to the official breed standard, but the color is so unique we’re looking forward to watching this puppy grow.
It is always exciting to welcome new life. With 2 litters of pups and a new human baby to care for, we’re exhausted but count ourselves incredibly blessed. And we are so excited to watch them all grow! What kind of blessings has this summer brought to you?
